Buying a house for us meant moving outside the city where things were slightly less outrageous in price. I was fine with it since it would mean that I didn't have to take public transportation anymore (not a fan of other people sweating on me) but this whole rush hour traffic thing sucks.
While sitting in my car driving home today I realized that I spend $110 and 11.5 hours driving to get to work each week. That is almost $450/month and over 40 hours in driving - that's a whole additional work week!
Oh how I envy those of you who have a short commute; or gasp - work from home.
What is your commute like?

Confiscated...
He hid all my Christmas fudge and cookies. Granted I had barrelled through what was clearly more than a pound of fudge in record time, but still. Today, it got to an all time low. I
It's kind of working though and I secretly hate him for that too - the whole out-of-sight out-of-mind really does work for me. I see fudge, I want fudge - but if I don't see it I forget about it. (Which is why everything in our vegetable drawer goes back.)
Little does he know, I have back-up stashes. Mwah Haha
Oh AND I'm going to 'confiscate' his beef-jerky stash - well see how fast he puts up the location of the fudge then.

Dear Antenna Bender...
Dear Antenna Bender,
That was unnecessary....and uncalled for.
I bet what you didn't count on is that the radio actually comes in better - so, HA! - even though you made my car even crappier than it already is your mission has ultimately failed.
xoxo (not)
